- Do not use ovens or stovetops to heat your home
- Keep portable propane appliances outside unless labeled for indoor use
- Avoid using non-residential or unapproved appliances inside your home

Guidance for Rural Customers:
- Create an emergency kit with blankets, flashlights, food, water, and medications.
- Keep your propane tank at least 30% full during winter to avoid supply interruptions.
- In extended outages, call your supplier before using alternative heat sources.
- If you suspect a propane leak: shut off the main valve, leave the area, and call your supplier or 911.
